Forest Research Institute conducts four (4) courses for M.Sc. programme, i.e. M.Sc. Forestry, M.sc. Environment Management (EM), M.Sc. Wood Science and Technology (WST) and M.sc. Cellulose and Paper Technology (CPT). The Forest Research Institute conducts “ALL INDIA ENTRANCE EXAMINATION’ for all the subjects in M.sc. degree. The examination is a common one, i.e. for all the subjects, there is one examination. So you can apply one or more than one subjects in a single attempt as per your eligibility.

This Mock Test is an actual representation of the entrance examination where, there will be a test of three (3) hours with questions grouped under the following four sections:

1. Basic Sciences including Social Science (100 questions)
2. Arithmetic and Quantitative abilities, Computational ability, Quantitative reasoning, Interpretation of Tables, Graphs, etc. (40 questions)
3. General Knowledge and Current Affairs (30 questions)
4. English Language, Comprehension, Vocabulary, Grammar, Idioms, etc. (30 questions)

So the entrance examination will be consisting of 200 questions. There will be negative marking for wrong answer to the extent of one-fourth (¼) of the marks allotted to the questions.
